Art Deco Enthusiasts — Check Out the Indiana State Library

The Indiana State Library is conveniently located across the street from the northwest corner of the State Capitol. And it is quite a jewel of Art Deco architecture both exteriorly and interiorly. The fixtures, built-ins, and paintings are exquisite. And definitely be sure to check out the First Editions collection room. You can ask for a guide just inside the Ohio Street entrance. Steve Schmidt is an excellent choice. The photograph here of the main hall is just one example of the wonderfully details you will find.

A special “treat” is scheduled for Saturday, October 25th when Al Hunter will give a haunted talk tour of the Library! Call the State Library for details.
